WeatherBug API Examples

We can't guarantee if any of these code examples or example programs that have been submitted by API users are bug free.

We encourage you to give them a try and if you have any suggestions for improvements or want to use the code examples to kick start your own project, that is no problem at all!

5) Mark Kamensek's Weather Widget using Active Server Pages

6) Tim Hibbard's "Where is Tim?" web site. Uses .NET technology. The data is also included in the "Where's Tim?" Web Service.

7) Tim has also given some information on his blog about how he programmed it. Cool stuff!

8) Google Home page module featuring Radar and Forecasts. Very cool.

9) Kevin Cornwell has created a very nifty site that lists all the closest sites from your zip code AND it is sort-able!.

10) One of my favorite pastimes is to go fishing! Matt Snider has an awesome site dedicated to the Colorado fisherman. I can see myself on Bear Creek Lake now!

11) Shawn Shell of Consejo Inc. created a Sharepoint Web Part for us all to use.Click here for the source code written in C#. Thanks Shawn!

12) Jason Huck created a Lasso implementation of the API. Click here to check it out.

13)WeatherBug breaks into the art world! This is pretty cool. Kevin Jones uses the API for an art exhibit in Tokyo that uses weather information from New Orleans to control a video in Tokyo. This has recently been implemented. Check it out.

14)Get your forecast automatically synced to your iPod with Life2Go. I have been using this application myself on my MacBook Pro and I love it.

15) Matthew Drake of Drake Barrineau web designs used the API to create a nice graphical display of current conditions and the forecast on his home page. It was developed using C#.NET and Atlas. Check it out here.
